My Friday Night Lesson...
As I make this journey, I am learning about myself, and learning about food. Tonight was a planned use of weekly points - first time I have used them. Pizza. I knew how many extra I wanted to use, so I looked up the nutritional info and figured out exactly how much I could eat and stay within what I wanted to "spend". I can't believe I did that! I don't think I've ever really paid attention to what I eat much less when I needed to stop. Major accomplishment.
Oh - and the pizza? The first slice was great! The 2nd - not so much. The cheese bread was ok, but I couldn't finish as much as I had planned to eat. How do I feel now? Stuffed - bloated - but not angry with myself because I DID plan this. What did I learn? It's ok to eat this stuff, however - my points are better spent eating other things.
