Geez, I missed it? That sounds like fun!

You're so right about weightlifting being a cardio workout! It's eyeopening for me too when I wear my HR monitor while working out. As a matter of fact, the highest HR I've ever reached (above 100% of my theoretical max) was while doing BB squats. And I'll regularly reach 85% of max doing other exercises. Interestingly, bicep exercises really shoot my HR up.

What I try to do is really make weights a fat-burning activity by keeping my HR as high as possible doing the workout, through a combination of heavy weights, brief rests, and supersets (exercises done back-to-back with no rest).
