Smile Things I have learned..

I started this new way of life 6 months ago. In that time I have learned....

* I CAN do this
* Just because I have failed before, I CAN try it again
* Some days are easier than others
* I AM worth the effort
* I CAN do it for myself
* One bad day does NOT ruin all my efforts
* I CAN go to social functions and have a great time and NOT eat
* I am the only one that can do this for me
* Taking care of me, is the best thing I can do

Just goes to show..........you CAN learn something new every day!

This has been a very eye opening, enlightening experience for me as well.

You certainly have learned many, many valuable things. Thanks for passing it on.

Those are great. I've found that the things that I've learned, like yours, transfer into everyday life as well. Being a mother does not mean that my needs are less important than those of my children. I have to say that to myself fifteen times to make it feel real because it's such a tricky one to internalize.
