I figured I should tell u all a little about myself. I am Alana Jo, 26. I am happily married to Michael, 30. We have 2 boys 5 and 2. Im from Eastern Ky and I am an emotional eater. I have around 100 lbs to loose, maybe more. Im just gonna try to eat healthy and exercise. Plans dont seem to work for me.
I'm new, too! And I think eating sensibly is more effective in the long run than "dieting" with plans. Have you ever tried just counting calories? It keeps you honest, at least. Well, it does for me.
What I am loving about this forum is how supportive everyone is, even on the little stuff. Sometimes, it's the little things that get you through the day.
Plans don't work for me either. Plus, like I learned recently this is a lifestyle, not a diet. I agree that counting calories while eating as healthy as possible is the wisest. Toss in some exercise and progress will be made.
