I`m currently sore from my abs down to my calves, and I mean sore! I`m walking like John Wayne with a limp. But I`m excited since yesterday I leg pressed (that machine where you`re flat on your back and pushing with your legs upwards) my starting weight. Exercise gets better, and as it does you can push yourself more so that when you`re sore the next day, you`re still excited about your afternoon upper body session. GOOD LUCK!

Boy do I hear you!

In fact, a session trying to walk up the hill on my cul de sac is what got my butt in here. I kept having to stop for breath every mail box, and yeah, it's a steep hill, but it isn't a very long one.

I have a really nice treadmill that I haven't been using....and so I got on it and USED it yesterday...

I like it because it has a heart rate monitor and so I can see that at that exact moment that I'm getting all sweaty and feeling unbelievably gross, I'm also getting into the "cardiovascular range"

It was kind of depressing because I was getting into the range while walking pretty slow, but I'm hoping I'll see progress.

Reading your post made me think to back to when I first honestly started putting effort in - I thought I had been before - but when I put my heart into it, I was like - WOW! I actually have a post somewhere on here commenting that I thought the guy on the exercise video was trying to kill me. (To this day - I still think he was!)

But - now I know when I am getting uncomfortable - it's because I am working out right. Most days - I am like "bring it on", but admittedly - there are days when I am crying on the inside saying "Noooo - I don't wanna" but - most of the time I am happy that I did it anyway.
