Smile How many calories does 1 pound of fat contain?

Hello....hope you all doing well...

I'm having a little, stupid question and was just wondering if somebody could clarify it for me.....
How many calories 1 pound of my own fat contains?

Lets say, if I burn 4000 calories a week....would that mean that I lost 1 pound? 2 pounds?

Have been searching for some info regarding to this matter, but different websites say different things, so dont know whom shall I trust

Thank you and wishing everyone a lovely day

Yes 3500, but if you burn 4000 calories in a week (I'm assuming you mean exercise) then you don't automatically lose 1 pound of fat. The deficit is what you have to look at. Calories eaten - calories burned (BMR + exercise) = your deficit. And even when the math is all correct, our bodies still do what they want.
