Nicki - sorry to hear that you are hurt, definitely NOT fun
Tiffany - thanks! I kinda think this picture is cute too
So today I headed out for 60 min walk, but fell and sprained my ankle. I bailed pretty good, I have very bruised and sore knees, and my hands are a little ripped up as well. Sucks. Hopefully I'm back to normal soon! I got a 40 min walk in.
This is a fun thread! Yesterday I took a women's free weights class and did 20 mins elliptical (2 miles) and 20 mins (3 miles) on the stationary bike. Today I took my first ever Tai Chi class (love.love.loved it!!!) and did 5 miles on the bike (30 mins). The bike is new for me. I'm trying to train myself for a spinning class. I've got a long way to go I think!
Yesterday, I went to the gym (first time in WEEKS!) and did 45 min. on the elliptical. Today, I went for a 30 min. walk with my dog. Not much, but at least I'm easing back into the habit!
Nicki and Aimee: Ouch! Hope you are both on the mend.
ScarlettDrawl: Every little bit counts.
As for me, 30 minutes at Curves (plus the 5 minutes it takes to walk there and home again. Yes, I live that close, so there is no excuse for me not to go!)
40 minutes - 5.83 miles - on my elliptical. 30 minute program of Namaste Yoga (minus commercials...so don't know how many actual minutes of Yoga....I'm guessing 20?)
60 minutes of interval walking on the treadmill...525 calories....not a lot of it was in the cardio zone...mostly stayed in the weight loss zone. I was really struggling today. Maybe I overdid it yesterday...my hips feel fatigued and achey and my energy level was really lacking.
I finally got to do a bit of exercise today. I've been going INSANE with this stupid tendonitis. I tried to run on the treadmill but could only run one mile because of the pain, then I did 20 minutes on the recumbent bike. Guess I need to see a doctor about this foot.
