Let me add my welcome to everyone elses and my belief that ANYONE can lose weight, once they find the plan thats best for them and follow it. Losing weight and then maintaing it is truly 80% what you put IN your mouth, 15% getting off your butt and moving some, and 5% what is in your head. That 5% is sometimes the hardest to overcome but it CAN and DOES happen. Everyday a lady here, or guy for that matter shares a piece of themselves and how vulnerable we are on this journey. You can do this!

Took me a while to get to this thread, but I just read it and I want to add my welcome to everyone else's. This is the best place in the world for you to come for support. I've gained and lost weight several times, but this time just feels right. I feel better than I ever have in my life, and part of that is because of this board. I don't know if I would've had the success I've had so far without the people here.

You deserve to have a life free of all those fears and worries. You and your man deserve to have a long life together, full of all the great things we sometimes miss out on when we're carrying around extra weight. And you WILL have those things. You WILL live a life free of fear and full of joy, because you've made a decision to commit to it! And all along the way...we'll be here for you!
