Fun With Numbers
Hi All!
I was waiting around Office Max the other day while my husband picked out computer stuff and decided to "play" with the adding machines. They are those cool gadgets that have the paper roll and the neat sounds when you press the buttons. Anyway, I remembered that a pound lost was 3500 calories. I decided to do some calculations.
I discovered that in losing 65 pounds, I had burned 227,500 calories!
I also discovered that I have "only" 175,000 to burn to get to my goal weight of 160!
I think I will put those numbers up in my kitchen as a reminder. Signs work wonders for keeping me on track!
If you want to get YOUR numbers, just multiply the amount of weight you've lost by 3500 to get how many calories you have ALREADY burned. To get the number of calories that you still have to burn to get to your goal, multiply pounds TO LOSE by 3500.
Fun stuff!
