30 Days Shred (Strength Training) - 30 Days Straight??
Hey all,
I am not sure if this is in the right forum but...I am doing the 30 Days Shred program. I was always told that when strength training, the muscles should have time to rest. To get maximum results, should I be doing this program 30 days straight or incorporating rest days?? Thanks!!
i don't take a rest. i am in the 20-something thread a lot and there are many of us doing the 30ds there. i don't believe very many of us take a rest. i don't feel like it is necessary. i don't think the strength training that we do is so intensive it requires a rest. just my opinion though. you know what your body needs. if you feel like resting, then do so, but if you feel like you don't need to, don't.
I'm not familiar with the 30 day shred but I imagine if it is cardio weight training where you are using fairly light weights, then you don't need to rest unless you feel sore.
