What great news! I am so happy that the 2 of you have allied. Support from friends can mean so much and you can be happy that you gave her such a good role model. Good for you and her!
Don't give in to her. She will eventually quit. My 3 step-daughters do the exact same thing. The funny thing is, 1 of them is now wearing my old size 14 clothes and another is wearing my old size 12's. Ha Ha, I am now wearing the oldest ones sizes 6 and 7's because she can't fit in to them anymore. So it doesn't bother me a bit when they tease me with foods that I no longer choose to eat. I got the last laugh.
BTW, my own 13 year old daughter sticks pretty well to the low-carb lifestyle with me and she has lost from 135 to 108 and is 5'2. She looks great in her size 1's and is on maintenance. She just tells her step-sisters to shut up and asks if they'd like to borrow a pair of jeans. LOL
BornConfuzed - I'm so glad your diet sabbatour has turned into a diet buddy
lillybelle - that sibling rivalry sure does rock - are they ugly stepsisters and your DD Cinderella I'm sure you love them all equally - but hooray for fitting into your stepdaughters's clothes
no, they are beautiful step-daughters and I do love them all equally. They just tend to speak their minds to each other. Especially with 2 of them both being 13.
