Good evening! Went for two power walks this afternoon. Ran errands both times. The last one was to and home from church. My fitness goals for today have been attained. 😁🐰😷💐

Dinner: 6 eggs with 1/2 stick butter and 3 oz mild cheddar cheese.

My diet says I should eat until i am comfortably stuffed and don't eat or snack until hungry. For me that's one meal a day sometimes every 32 or 48 hours and occasionally 72 hours. Depends upon how much fat is in my meal. I have been eating this way for four months and it always amazes me how long it takes to get hungry.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I commit to not binging today.

Steps from yesterday: 9,671

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

April 28

John 14:14
'If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.'

A man asked help from his brothers, and they had no time. He turned to his children, and they had too many other things to do. He tried his friends, but they were all away. Feeling lonely and alone, he knelt down and prayed. Why is it that we turn to God only after all our other options are closed? God has promised to give us the desires of our hearts, and yet we seek them in a hundred other places. We need to make God our first choice, not our last. Keep the Lord first in you heart, first in your mind, and first in all you do and say. You'll be amazed what it can do for you!

Today's thought: A new me is mine for the asking!

Hello everyone
Great to see you Larry! Sorry your DW is having so many health issues this past few months. But congrats on the weight loss.

I have been all over the place with eating...err snacking. The ugly monster is back it seems. But I recognize it for what it is. It will last about a week then I will go back to my normal at the few pounds I put on will slowly...creep off. (fingers crossed)

We leave Wednesday for a road trip up the east coast. Any recommendations? We will avoid NYC but pretty much take anything else!

I go back to the orthopedic dr. mid may for my knee. The cortisone shot I think has/is wearing off and the pain is slowly coming back. I don't want to get to the point I was a few months ago where I could not even put my shoe on without help.
The xray did not show much only that he thinks my bone joint or cartilage may be jagged and I pinch the tissue each time I bend my knee. I hope they do the MRI as planned then.

Diana great job on your commitment to OA...I promise I will take it seriously when we return or maybe while we are on the road and I am sitting in the car I will read more about OA.

My DD joined WW and is enjoying it. She has about 100lb to loose or so she says. I tried ww and I know it works for a lot of people I just did not get much motivation from it. Maybe it was my area, dunno. It is another tool like OA or MFP ...just being accountable learning to change bad habits into good

Hi Everyone!

Nancy WW wouldn't work for me because I eat healthy. That's not my problem. My problem is the binging.

No binge. We had cake and ice cream after church for a church member who is moving away. I had a piece of cake and an ice cream cup at church. That was my dinner.

yogurt, protein granola bar, prunes 480 calories

Lunch 600 calories
salad w/smoked turkey & BHF's ranch 600 calories

Dinner 700 calories
cake slice & ice cream cup 700 calories

Exercise:
walking

Have a Blessed evening!

I have been coughing up phlegm for ten days so I gave up and went to urgent care. I have acute bronchitis. Nothing cute about it I can see. Any way I am on antibiotics and prescription cough syrup. I told the doctor I was an alcoholic and he assured me that there was no alcohol or codeine in the cough syrup.

I am down another three pounds which makes it an 89-pound drop since Christmas.

Not hungry today so as per the guidelines for the Carnivore Diet I am extending my fast past 24 hours.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Steps from yesterday: 11,503

May 29

Matthew 21:21
Jesus answered and said unto them, 'Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;' it shall be done.'

Most people like to feel they are in control of their lives. When they are manipulated or made to feel helpless, they rebel and fight with everything they can. Funny how many of the same people are people who refuse to be ruled by their passions. They ask themselves, 'What would Jesus have me do and be?' rather than leaping into situations without any forethought. Christ should be the only Ruler of our lives, and when we turn all power over to Him, miraculous things begin to happen.

Today's thought: The same power that withers figs can wither fat!
