Afternoon
I sat outside on the deck for 10 minutes today. It's a beautiful day in the Ozarks.
I went to the gym today. Started on the treadmill but gave out after .25 miles so I rode the Nustep. And then as I was leaving got back on a treadmill and lowered the speed and did another .25 miles. Im pleased.
Hellos to everyone.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Steps from yesterday: 10,451

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

March 3

Matthew 28:20
'teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.' Amen.

A friend of mine fasts regularly, and to my astonishment, he never complains or seems to be the least bit ruffled by the experience. For myself, I find that fasting changes my whole disposition. I asked him his secret once, and he said, 'It's no secret, really. All I do is pretend that the empty feeling in my stomach is really the Holy Spirit moving around, making itself comfortable inside. That way, the gnawing isn't unpleasant but it's quite comforting to think that God is so very close.' I tried to follow my friend's advice, and it has worked wonders for me. Try it today.

Today's thought: I will let my hunger turn my mind to God!

Good morning to all
I am still not weighing myself on a daily bases for my own mental health. But I do 'check' in twice a month. I am pleased to say the scale is moving down.

We went to an 'escape room' yesterday with my DD + Family yesterday for SIL and DH birthday and were 1 clue away from escaping in our 1 hour allotted time. So close LOL

Did I mention we have joined the Y? Anyway we will go back on Monday and I do what I can with the limitation with my knee. But I see a specialist Wednesday for a treatment plan.

Another biggie for us is we will be attending a new church today. We have been following the service online for a few weeks now and enjoy the story with the parables. The problem is there is no parking so we will have to street park and walk which is my challenge right now. I think DH will drop me near the door then find parking. So looking forward to it.
Waving to all

I have been spending all my time in the Hospital. My Wife has been in ICU for AFIB, Very High Blood Pressure and very High Blood Sugar. She is a diabetic.

Our cardiologist is going to meet with us tomorrow and discuss his plan for the next step.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Steps from yesterday: 6,280

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

March 4

Psalm 50:15
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Jim's watch alarm beeped as the clock struck four. It sounded every hour and every half hour. I turned to him and asked him what he had set so many alarms for. 'I'm on a diet. Every time my watch goes off, I take a moment to say a prayer to God. It may sound crazy, but it has made this the easiest diet I've ever tried. It calms me down and gets my mind off food for awhile. I feel like I've got a partner, and you know, it's always easier to do something when you don't have to do it alone.'

Today's thought: I can be brave during the tough times, because God is with me!
