Thank you all for the feel better soon's wishes. As for yogurt etc. I have never liked the flavor. I have tried all brands even made my own and it is just too tangy for me to enjoy, not that I don't enjoy tang just not that tang. I am going to put some more fiber in my diet via flax seed as I can feel I need it since things are not moving as they should. Hence:

WI up 163.0 this morning

I am going to help DH deliver a customers furniture to them this morning which really messes up our Saturday, we will have to drive about 150 miles round trip. Back later off to go load the truck and deliver

Hi Everyone!

Kelijpa Have you tried the new BHF's cucumber ranch dressing? I like the flavor, but it didn't go well with my salad today. The salad has fruit in it so I didn't like the cucumber flavor with it. The regular ranch is just about perfect for me.

Good Morning. 233.4. another irritating bounce up. If I "hold" for tomorrow I will still be down 1.2 lbs for the week but am hoping for another drop. Who knows drinking a lot of water may backfire on me but I have GOT to flush this excess salt out.

I did NOT drink enough water yesterday and feel bloated and icky and backed up. Did get in 5.2 miles and 16 floors but took it easy. My RHR has dropped back to 60 but my BP is still up a little (almost 120/80). Kefir is making (I have gone several days without) and I think upsetting my diet and too much sodium and the exercise from Thursday is still taking it's toll. Older bodies don't bounce back as quickly. Today, I am thinking water with lemon juice and lots of it. Food is planned. I did eat according to plan yesterday.

Right now I am just kind of blah all over and hope a week in the mountains starting Monday afternoon will recharge my batteries. I think the Winesaps will be in and hope to secure some while we are up there [you never see them in stores down here]

Planned: 1133 calories, 75 grams protein, 104 grams net carbs, 43 grams fat. Omega 6:3 = 3.1

Good Morning, Everyone!

grannynancy A week in the mountains sounds awesome! Enjoy!

October 15

Zechariah 4:6
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, 'This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, +Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit,' saith the Lord of hosts.'

Curtis liked to think he could do everything on his own. He often told friends that he didn't need anybody else; he was fine all by himself. On those rare occasions when Curt was feeling down and in need of a friend's support, he usually found himself alone. Everyone figured he really didn't need anyone else, and so he was lonely. No matter how strong or powerful or talented we might be, we all need the support of friends. Our greatest friend is, of course, Jesus Christ. We need never feel alone when we have the Spirit of the Lord with us. Accept the helping hand of the Lord, and find out what real strength is all about.

Today's thought: Let me lose not only weight, but also false pride!

Good morning/afternoon to all

Yesterday was a long day driving. But I even got in a nap when we were done. Of course that really messed me up for night time. I did have a few glasses of wine to help relax and fall asleep at decent hour. Which btw this is TMI but the wine (?) perhaps got mother nature to move for me today. Too bad it happened after my WI

But still down this am but you all know how that goes with me.

Today we are going to go for a long walk, as a matter of fact we will be leaving in a few but had to bounce in

Diana
I love the cucumber flavor dressings
Granny, a week in the mt yeah

Big happy hugs to all....After all tomorrow is Monday

Good evening, a quick fly by tonight

Steps over 14,000 but eating carbs about 60 and so glad I really don't count calories....yikes hehe

Well I am sure tomorrow the scale will yell at me and the slight drop will be back. Was my splurge worth it? Yes sometimes you just have to really let your hair down.

back in the am after my workout

Good morning all,
162.3 this morning

Can’t remember when I last lost over a weekend, must be from being down a pint of blood, haha. I’ve got some catching up to do, and having a terrible time getting myself to get going this morning. Oh well...I’m going to get there eventually...although at this rate it’s not looking good

Hope everyone has a great day and not as much trouble getting ready for work as I am having

nancylmrn Great job on your steps.

kelijpa You are doing awesome! Keep up the great work!

Last night I added on: Full Body Stretch (standing)
This Morning: Oxycise in the Office 2

Calories for yesterday: 1460 +

No Change

Have a great day and start to your week!

October 16

John 19:11
Jesus answered, 'Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.'

How much easier our lives would be if we could quit fighting the fact that all power comes from God. We want control of our own lives, and we like to think we can stand on our own two feet. The reality of the matter is that we have received everything we have from the Lord. He has given us our abilities and talents, He has given us our resources, and He gives us our opportunities. The truly strong person is she who understands that God is the source of all power. If we want the power to diet, it can come to us only through the Lord God Almighty, who loves His children and offers them everything they need.

Today's thought: God is greater than my desire to eat!

Good morning everyone!

WI 162.4 no change even with all the steps and mother nature sweeping me out.
WO 35 min of total body workout so week 2 day 1 of 4 week FB Sweat done, opted out of doing the 16 min extra credit today. Just not feeling it, could be because I indulged in wine last night and Saturday. Another reason why there is not drop?

Oh well I am learning to live with it

I have all my lunches and breakfasts planned this week. Dinner well....not so much. I made DH a large pan of lasagna and he will eat on that most of this week. I am thinking I will stick to a protein and veggies of some variety or another.

OK I am off back later
