Hi ! stepping on the scale every day helps you maintain weight loss but for me is not so good because I lose my motivation. I use to weigh myself once a week . Good luck with your weight loss journey !

I weigh myself every day, too. Usually it keeps me motivated, because usually it goes down every day. On the occasion it stays the same, it is a little disappointing but I keep telling myself, at least it's not going up. Best wishes to you!

I weigh myself every day, some times a few times a day. I retain water easily due to the pill I take for my Hashimoto's and I have IBS, too, so I get crazy weight fluctuations. I just get out of the bathroom and step on the scale out of habit at this point. It doesn't affect me, though, and it's helped me identify things that affect both the water retention and the IBS. Otherwise, I'd weigh in less often.

I would like to weigh myself every day, but... I'm afraid that I'll get frustrated. Water weight is no joke.

I weigh every day and take my lowest weight for the week as my record. My weight can go up and down so much its ridiculous. This way as long as the lowest weight that week is lower than the previous week I count it as a good week rather than berating myself on days I weigh more. Also it means if I have a bad day I can see it reflected on the scales but know I get another chance the next day to see a better number.

I weigh daily and organize the numbers in my head like Rechyl does.

I like data and fluctuations don't get me down (too much ) bc I understand it's how my body works.

Weighing daily keeps me aware, and that helps me tremendously. The benefit more than outweighs (hardy har har) the frustration or disappointment I sometimes feel with the numbers.

I stopped weighing daily when I was putting on weight the past couple of years. I'm committed to staying with my daily habit. I need it.

I weigh daily. When I am making healthy choices my weight bounces up or stays the same a lot and then I will lose a few lbs. I remind myself of this each time as I get on the scale. I know that eventually the scale will show the progress I am making.

@Emmy, @Maria, @HaveDogWillDiet, @Rechyl, @Chunkahlunkah, @Envelope ~ When I started this thread I had no idea that there were so many 3FC members that weighed their selves every day.

fat2fitgirl ~ Yes I so know what you mean I HATE WATER WEIGHT - I'm sure everyone does.
