Holiday greetings to all of you.

I have decided to drink lots of water during the day, eat a good breakfast and lunch, go for a brisk walk every day or do yoga. I will stop frying food and only boil or roast lean protein.

At nights I will slowly lower the calorie intake and have a pre-breakfast with very low calorie food.

Rosamaria, sound like a great plan!!

Wow, I just lost pound #75. The pool is closed today, of course, so I plan to go out for a good walk this morning.

Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas.

Thanks, Missy!

I just did a brisk walk (with my two canes) in stinging cold rain with a few snowflakes mixed in. Love this weather!!!

Hey I see a few people are in and out today. DH is playing his new game I got him for the holiday.

Rosamaria Nice to see you on this thread. Welcome.

Missy Happy holidays to you too. What are your plans today?

I just put my turkey breast in the oven. I am having one rum and diet coke to toast the holiday with DH. We are having butternut squash, brussel sprouts and the turkey. DH is having stuffing too. I also made cranberry sauce, very low sugar as I like it tart and will make mushroom with sherry gravy.

I passed up the chocolate cupcakes and shortbread cookies. Just do not need them today.

My DH is so thoughtful. We had a lovely morning. Had a nice walk in the chilly air.

Be well!

Merry Christmas Everyone...!!!

So far so good... Been slightly off plan since Saturday evening... and the scale is really showing it, which I expected, but still... even if it is just water weight, it never ceases to amaze me how much the scale can go up overnight... And I know that it will come right back off once everything starts to get back to normal over the next couple of days... I mean a know for a fact I didn't eat an extra 10,000 calories the last 3 days

And I've already eaten 1500 calories already... and we haven't had dinner yet... But I think I can keep the rest of day to 500 and even get away with including a fork full or two of dessert

Hopefully getting back on track won't be too painful tomorrow...

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Happy holidays, everyone

There was a big feast yesterday evening with traditional Christmas food and beverage.

When I came home I stuck with the night eating plan - I´m thinking about it as a pre-breakfast and had a bowl of Rice Krispies, a few grapes and a small amount of yogurt.

I slipped and had six pieces of Belgium Chocolate I got as a gift. That was just before falling asleep.

I counted the calories I´ve been having at night and it´s on average 3000 calories, so I´m reducing them drastically.

Rosamaria, congratulations on reducing your night calories. Great work!

TripSwitch, Plucky Pear & Misti, hello!

And happy day AFTER the holiday to all. I love the day after holidays as I like ordinary life better than special days.

Or rather, I make my own special days.

I DID eat extra calories for the past few days, thought I was on a good roll yesterday but ended up adding a nice but EXTRA Christmas night meal as my mood had been kind of going down all day.

Still hoping for a loss this week but looking forward now to my newest GOAL DAY OF GETTING INTO THE 120s, which is January 13! Woot! I will do 'er.

Morning all! Well, I stopped counting calories yesterday before dinner, but I know I way over did it on salty pita chips and cookies before dinner. I made dinner here (which is great because I could control what I put into it) but it wasn't ready on time so I ended up snacking then finally eating dinner it at 8. I'm estimating that I went over about by 600-800. Morning WI = 151.4, so that's basically maintaining, which is a victory in itself. I'm thinking that I can still have a good weekly WI this Friday so long as I stay OP for the rest of the week.

I spent about an hour and a half at the gym today. 4 miles on the treadmill, 1/2 mile on eliptical and then weights. Hope everyone is doing well.

*sigh* I just realized Friday will be yet another "bring a dish" to work for a birthday. As always I'm sure there will be tons of crap. I have to avoid.
