Default Started this week- Looking fo support to continue

Hello
Joined the forum yesterday although I have been a regular reader for many months. Last year I started at 166 and went down to 157. This year due to back pain took a little time off and now back to 167. It is so disappointing I am planning on being regular at the gym and watching what I eat. Until I reach target 2 I am planning on just veggies for dinner with some protein
Height: 5'4, Size: 10 pants, Dress: 12
My goals: Mini- Goals:
Target 1- Less than 160. Sick and tired of looking at 6 in the middle!
Target 2- Less than 155
Target 3- Less than 150
Target 4- Less than 144- BMI will be officially "normal" not "overweight"

Long term goals- 121
Will keep working at it and logging progress

I support you to continue.

At the gym I would advise you to lift heavy weights - unless you have time to do both cardio and lift heavy.

Keep at it, definitely! With consistency and dedication I think your goals are easily attainable. Focus on nutrition first, then healthy living and activity becomes much easier as your body functions better and your energy increases. I am a firm believer that healthy bodies are inclined more toward movement than metabolically sick bodies, and much of that dysfunction can be solved with a whole foods diet. Vegetables and meat for dinner is excellent, but don't skimp on the fat with the veggies. It helps with satiety and nutrient assimilation, not to mention is incredibly tasty

Figure out what, if any, particular sensitivities or triggers you have. Eliminate or mitigate them as needed. Then just keep at it and continue improving your health in as many ways as you can. You'll be to a healthy BMI in no time

For a smaller dress size, I concur entirely with John that body resistance exercises or heavy lifting is excellent. I managed to lose two sizes and almost no additional pounds just from building muscle. Body recomposition is excellent stuff.

I wish to the best, stay on here and stay accountable!

Keep it up. The first week is really tough, but if you get through it (and you will!) next week will be easier, emotionally speaking.
