Wow, I wish I could get all of you to do mine for me.

I do like a good farmers' market, as berry said, and we have a food co-op in town that I like an awful lot too, but have trouble getting because of its hours.

I like cooking, but not the fact that I have to do it every. single. day. Ugh. It's not easy for me. I have a picky 8 yo son, a pickier-than-I-am husband and trying figure out something that's going to make us all, if not happy, at least not too miserable, and that I can make reasonably quickly after work, is a challenge. And I don't BELIEVE in a lot of the processed food short cuts that might make it easier, if less healthy.

Somehow that all comes to a head at the grocery store. That's the place where it all needs to come together. So no, I don't love grocery shopping :O

As a friend of mine said, "Dinner is so...daily."

One place I really really like around here is World Market. It's huge and you can find tons of stuff that are not at local chains. I walk around there for hours haha. I do my regular shopping at Market Street which is kind of like Whole Foods but not 100% organic (mostly though!) and has a much bigger selection.

I just went yesterday and already thought of a couple more things I need! lol

The only thing I don't like about grocery shopping is that I always forget some important item, seriously, like every single time. Usually it is my list!

Other than that I love it. I go to either Sam's, Kroger or Trader Joe's at least once a week. We have an amazing market just a couple minutes from my house, Findlay Market, that has tons of little shops with fresh produce, meats, fish, spices, etc. They also have a farmer market area on the weekends. It is awesome! I love coming home and putting everything away, chopping up produce.

MMM thanks for the recipe! It's saved on my to-make-to-try list!

I absolutely ENJOY Farmer's markets. It's my summer hobby. I moved to a city this year so I fear I won't be able to find all the awesome stuff that I was able to find last year when I lived in a more kinda farmers area. My one thing to buy every week at a market was fresh farm eggs One day when I get a little acreage for my future horses, I'll be getting some chickens so I can indulge!
