Hi everyone
OK Friday I had the pot roast that I think came out great
so friday food was
brunch :two english muffins w/ light margarine and coffee two sugars and milk
Dinner : 2 small peices of pot roast and baby carrots and potatoes
Yesterday was a bit more though
breakfast : english muffin
lunch : 2 small wheat pita pockets
dinner: two hamburgers on rolls /w onion ketchup and lite mayo (lite mayo is gross in my opinion)
cucumber slices
about 20 lays bbq chips
2 mountain dew code red
Not bad but not good either I forgot the water

Wildfire; called the phone company they are going to credit me for the price of the turkey call. My son and I were the only ones home when that call was placed so I know I didnt call but DS could of without realizing he was calling a real place.. Hey how was the movie pearl Harbor?? I was going to rent it but I wasnt sure if it would be worth the rental fee..

Eydie; I tried to grow brocoli ONCE and I never knew when I was supposed to pick it so it ended up going to seed . I love brocoli just wish I could have known when to pick it..

Amyjo; You are right I know I shouldnt be disturbed by it, but I wanted to do everything ourselves. This kinda messes up my self reliance thing thats all. Glad you are feeling better..

ohhhh FLOWERRRRRR Where art thou Flower??? Hope all is going well but I hope you post soon we miss ya..
And Ruthieeeeeeeee hope to hear from you as well

Well I know it is sunday but I had a few minutes see you all on Monday.. BTW I stepped on my scale according to that I weigh in at 259.5 I think its wrong I couldnt have lost 5 pounds in a wek.. Oh well I still have over a week till my Bday I wanna see what the weight says on my birthday..
Take Care

Happy icky 'ol Monday everyone!

It's so good to see everyone so rarin' to go and excited about being OP again!!!

I'm down 2 pounds this week. If I can do this again next week, then I'm officially off my semi-self imposed plateau. My goal of getting to the 220's isn't going to happen though - but I'm ok with that.... I'm just happy to be back to moving in the right direction again.
The movies were good. Bandits was a little slow in the middle, but had an awsome ending. Domestic Disturbance had my adrenilin levels peaked. It was good, but a little too close to what life was like living with my in-laws. I once came home only to find out my father in-law had told my then husband that the only way we were leaving the house was in a box... after living through that, watching a movie of it is a little freaky. Good ending though, something I wish I could've experienced with the FIL...

Wildfire - yea, if people are yawning it's time to find another leader. I have a collection of light recipes too, I have mine in a three ring binder in sheet protectors so if you're cooking and make a mess you can just wipe off the book, and I have little tabs to separate beef, chicken, desserts, breads, etc... Eek, I just realized that sounds so Martha! Should I also tell you I have little cow pictures on the beef tab, a little crab on the seafood.... Gods, I'm sick aren't I????

Sheila - Funny you mention Sears... I'm going there today to check out elliptical trainers - I hope I find a nice salesperson like you did - sometimes they can be so rude/pushy. As for loosing 5 pounds - it's doable, the more you have to loose the more you loose at first AND the first week totally OP is usually a lot of water and that counts for a sizable loss too. Take it and run girl!!!

Amyjo - I'm glad you're feeling better. You must've really found something that doesn't agree with you! I have a similar reaction to my friend's blackend anything. Some herb she uses in the blackening seasoning sends me to the restroom for 3 days...

Eydie - Welcome back to OPville!! I loved the old Evian ad (nasty water, good ad) that said something like "tomarrow's another day to get it right"... Yea, we've all had "day one's", you can come and crab here, we'll help ya!

Well, that's all for now... Have a great Monday, well, the best a Monday can be anyway

Terri

We got our weight station and our treadmill from Sears, it is a Nordic Track treadmill. I like it but I don't like to run on it - seems like I am going to bust the thing ... We get all of major appliance stuff from Sears... they back thing up really well so I can't complain.

Weigh-in left me happy I am down two pounds officially Woo hoo. I can say that I am excited .....

Food has been good, I am buying nothing but health for everyone... the Darling NEICE from heck is just going to have to deal with no junk food around.

WF ~ Glad things seem so positive it is great to feel motivated again. Pearl Harbor was a great movie.. Really emotional but I loved it... I want to see Sum of All Fears, will probably give me the creeps though.

Punkin ~ You are sounding really Martha but some people are type A in different areas than others... My recipes are scattered from can to can't and usually only get used once.

Sheila ~ Don't say couldn't - 5 pounds is doable just not practical ... Hope all is well...

Well have a ton of book work to do before Clinical tomorrow. Will post soon.

ok...just remember i am female and we are allowed to change our minds as many times as we wish too!

chris accused me of being interested in someone else and not giving him a real chance to change. i hate being called on something and it being so very true. so for the last week i have let him back into my life, stop daydreaming and tried to be open to a life together. it has been a wonderful week. i make no promises, just enjoying working together. we have done a lot together. grocery shopping, dishes cleaning playing ect....

i know only time will tell, but i am learning how to live for today. i am thinking about selling my home. i can't afford to keep it in good shape. the ac went out 3 days ago. summer in vegas without ac is pure h***!!!!! i don't know how much to repair. gotta wait til payday. i applied at a wedding chapel as a florist in a major hotel. i am hoping to get it, i could use more $...

Well, i am alive, i am just trying to focus on life. I am down to 170. i am definately getting noticed by the men. i don't know if it is flattering or annoying. double edged sword. love ya girlfriends! audri/flower

Amyjo I know 5 isnt practical I wasnt trying to lose it all in one week but it happened so hopefully it is gone for good. You wont bust your Noditrack by running on it.. Sears is a great store my mom swears by them .. ( sad thing is most of my school clothes came from there when I was little out of a huge catalog ..I remember getting measured every year..How I hated that) Hope your clinical went well ..

Punkin Congrats on your 2 pound loss!!!

My food intake for yesterday was
breakfast : grabbed a wheat pita bread at ran out the door ..
Lunch grabbed a wheat pita and a piece of bologna as I was running to another appointment , but grabbed a cup of coffee between that time)
went to my friends had coffee w/ sugar and milk and a sprite..
dinner at moms chicken thigh and drumstick with hot stuff on it and baked potatoe and greenbeans (two coffees w/ sugar and milk)
I grabbed about 24 ounces of water while on the run

well hope everyone is doing great talk to you all soon

I found my elliptical!!!!!

Sears has a great one! It's got 3 foot adjustments so you can use it either as a stair stepper, an elliptical or a cross country ski machine. The guy literally talked me out of buying it though - he said they go on sale all the time for $100 less and I should wait a week or two. Love those kinds of sales people!

Flower - I'm happy to see you back and HAPPY!!! Relationships can be the pits, and they can bring immeasurable joy. I'm happy to see you exploring every last nook and cranny in a relationship you've had for a long time. I wish you luck and happiness...

Hellooooo to everyone! Gotta go say g'bye to the folks, they're headin' to CA for a week.

Sheila ~ I hope you know I wasn't chastizing about the 5 pounds... just stating that setting that for a goal each week would set someone up for falling flat on the )#(*$... But I know that wasn't what you were doing ... it just slipped up on you !

WF ~ Grats on the loss.... Keep it up...

Punkin ~ Those eliptical trainers are hard work... good luck~~ Glad you found an honest salesman (can you use those two words in one sentence?)

Flower ~ It is every woman's given right to change there minds.. that is why we were made with two major hormones and men were made with one ... Just kidding, good luck regardless!

It has been a pretty crumby week. Sky has been sick since Sunday so I have been running on really little sleep and now I think I have gotten what shes got, or gotten back... may of given it to her in the first place. Gave in and took her to the MD yesterday she had been running fever for 4 days straight and not out of the bed for 3 (this is a 9 Yr Old and it is summer) So she has bronchitis with a touch of asthma. I am exhausted because I have been burning the candles at both ends as far as school and home have gone. I am strung out~~~~~ I have done alright food wise this week but nothing to write home about.

I have got to get it in gear this morning I need to do some last minute cramming for my first OB test, Wish me luck, light a candle, say a prayer because this test has not been prepared for ...

Hugs to you all~

Flower, it ain't over 'till it's over! I hope you and Chris can continue on a good note. Maybe he finally realizes how things were before.

Amyjo, hope Sky doesn't give the crud back to you and that she's feeling better soon. How was the OB test?

Punkin, that was great of the salesperson to give you the heads up on the sale prices.

Sheila, glad to see you're eating more during the day.

My meeting last night was great. I've been to this leader's classes before and she's really great. While I was there, two members came in that I recognized from last year when I went for a short while. WOW...what a change in these women...they're now at goal and lifetime members...look amazing! I told them I remembered them from last year and how terrific they look now. They were really pleased to hear it.

Have to go clean up. We have movers coming in tomorrow afternoon to give us an estimate.

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you beleive that I forgot my anniversary? Yesterday was mine and Kevin's 4 anniversary and we both completely forgot. His best friend reminded us tonight. what a moron!

Made a B on the OB test, can't have expected more Honestly... but I got my results back from my NLN's from last semester and I made and 96% the passing score is a 40% so I was dancing a jig!

Sky is feeling some better.. just have to finish the rotation of antibiotics and hope for the best!

Flower, It's GREAT to hear from you again and it's admirable to give your relationship with Chris every chance because you would've always wondered.

Wildfire, Congrats on the weight loss! That's a lot!

Amyjo, that's so funny about BOTH of you forgetting your anniversary!

Sheila, I like reading your 'menus'. Do you keep a food journal?

Punkin, How's the new "toy" working for you? I love getting new equipment!

I'm doing well--have made it to Day 6 on my new plan! I'll check in later!

hi everyone...

i really don't know what my problem is. some days i am deleriously happy with my life and then others i just want to run as fast and far away from it as i can. today is a running day. i don't know if i can make it work with chris. i am trying. somethings just annoy me to no end. he always takes short cuts. he won't ever do anything the correct way the first time. i on the other hand won't do anything unless it is done right... perfectionist in me. i realize we both have to bend on this but right now he is on my last nerve. did i tell you that he was laid off work 2 weeks ago? today will be #2 application he has turned in. my a/c still isn't working. do not have the $.

i start my new job on july 1st. florist for the canturbury wedding chapel at the excalibur casino. i am gonna miss my friends at work at tgi.... but i need a more creative hands on job. i don't want to do just sales. they may offer me a management job to stay on, they are real sad to see me go.

well, diet is fine. i don't eat much in btwn meals any more. could use a healthier meal at meal time. you all are doing so wonderfully! i am just an emotional mess. i need a change and i don't know what needs a changing. i don't know if i really want chris or is that just easier than hurting him and starting over...i will wait till disneyland is over and figure it out then. just gonna try to keep my eyes open, and not be too judgemental... ~flower

Hi everyone
This will be short I am expecting a call that may save us $500 a month in rent alone, and some sanity for me.. Over the weekend we looked at a 3 bedroom mobile home NICE sized kitchen and living room for $400 a month on its own land .. School district is 3rd in the state on how good it is, very very country .There are a few drawbacks though, one it needs repairs and fixing up and two it sits on the edge of a HUGE cornfeild ( I am talking I all I can see is cornfeild (at least if the cornfeild is there that means the neighbors are on the OTHER side of the feild whereever it ends that is) and three well there is a tractor company across the street but that is nothing at least the owner of the trailer isnt hard to reach if needed..( I guess he owns the tractor company)
I know some people that live out there not too far away from the place we looked at and great place to go WALKING, hardly any traffic one of the people lives only 2 miles away
Daughter is out of school now.. The principal suggested summer school but if we get this place well she might not need it..Country schools have a whole different standard of scoring then city schools.
Son is excited he can wait to go and check out the new place on the outside. We are walking distance from a great deer hunting area and great fishing area and a river to swim in ( oh my I havent swam in a river since I was little )
Anyway let me talk about my scale..It didnt do a thing it is exactly the same as it was last weeek.. I will weigh myself on wensday to put down my offical Bday weight.. Then I can see if I lost 5 before my bday or not..Then I can set up goal #2 ..
OK well Like I said I have to make this a quick one I will address you all either today or first thing tomorrow I have a ton of stuff to do so I will see what I can do
Oh I did watch what I ate all weekend though I did go over bored saturday and had 4 pieces of "the works pizza" but I was running around like a chicken with my head chopped that day so that was basically what I ate all day
Yesterday was my macaroni cheese hamburg and corn speciality.. it sound gross but it is good
Gotta go talk to you all soon

'Mornin' everyone

Well, Friday bit... The phone company "accidently" disconnected our business phones for over 24 hours. Can you believe it????? I was stressed to the max - I'm running the office by myself right now and it never seems to fail that when I'm in charge something happens that the big bosses (aka my Mom and stepfather) could've avoided had they returned a phone call.... <rant over>

On a positive note - I'm down 2 more pounds!!!!!! With this loss I've reached my first 10% loss... I'm not going to make it to my goal I wanted to reach before I left for CA, but I don't care! I'm very happy and feel 'vunderful'. I've also made myself a deal that when I get all the weight off I want, and can maintain it for a year, that if I still need a tummy tuck (I've got quite an "apron" from multiple weight losses/gains) I'm going to treat myself to a nip n' tuck... I've begun my research already and have found a fabulously qualified surgeon nearby. I hope I won't need it, but if I do, I want to be educated!

Wildfire - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Great loss!

Amyjo - A "B" is quite good when you didn't think it was going to go well! I hope you and Sky are back to your healthy selves soon and happy belated anniversary!

Eydie - I haven't gotten the new toy yet. In the paper Sunday they have what looks like my model on close out for $279 (reg. $499). I'm going to go tomarrow to check it out with my Mom. I almost went without her yesterday!

Flower - Congrats on the new job! No, you didn't mention that Chris got laid off. I'm sorry... It's so hard watching someone go through relationship problems without giving your opinion! One of my girlfriends is about to separate from her husband... it's so hard to just listen and not say "get the **** out!!!!!". That said, you know we're here for you - you come here and vent all you want.

Sheila - Yes!! New stuff always motivates me! That's partly why I can't wait to get my new elliptical!!! MORE TOYS, MORE TOYS, MORE TOYS!!!!! Hehehehehehehe.....

Well, should get some work done since I'm leaving for CA this Thursday.

Have a great day everyone!

Terri
