Dee-I am so sorry about your cousins. I am sending more prayers your way. I have never heard of the therapy you are doing. How did you decide to have this done? Did you do a lot of research on it? I'm going to do some exploring online to see what I can find. Right now, it just sounds like you said, dumping money. I know you stay in immense pain, but I would hate to see you in that pain and poor because of giving the therapist all your money!!

Linda-Good for you on trying to get long weekends. It does sound like you work quite a bit.

Mike and I have been having to bundle all the stuff we cut down on Sat. The waste disposal company left us a note saying we had to bundle everything up. What a pain in this 94 degree weather. We finally finished today. My heel is really hurting me, and I haven't run in a couple of days. I feel like I am blimping out.

Linda how tragic to lose a sister. It must have been so hard on the family. I am sorry about it. How are the children doing? They must be grown up if she had a grand baby.
It is 10 C which is about 55.

Shelley any leads on a job for Mike? I hope that he isn't to depressed about it. Is he doing a lot around home while he is off? Let me know what you think about the treatment when you read about it. It was my family doc that sent me to him. He said that we are pulling at straws to find away to make me better. He is not sure if it will work or possible make me worse. He told me to check it out some more before I commit.

I work 4 days a week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with job #1. Job #2 I usually work Tues. and Wed. or Tues. and Friday nights or sometimes all 3 nights. I go weigh in on Thursday nights. I refuse to work Saturday through Monday. Keeps me active and I enjoy it. And the extra money helps. Saturday nights (and sometimes Friday nights) I go dancing. Sunday and Monday and my off nights, I spend with my kiddos.

Yes, she was killed on Christmas night in 2000. I just about went crazy. My mom was a basket case and couldn't do anything. My nephew was too young to handle things and my niece was clueless. So that left me in charge of handling all of the financial things. I ended up on depression meds for about six months.

Her kids are doing pretty good. My nephew is 21 now and my niece is 27 and married. Her little boy just turned 6 last weekend. I really felt sorry for my niece because her dad was also killed in a car accident before she was a year old and then her mom. She and I are pretty close.

Dee-Go to www.prolotherapy.com. It looks more like this is a homopathic thing, since it is a sugar solution injected into the joint. Check it out. I haven't read the whole thing. I just edited this and found www.prolotherapy.org. It gives more information than the other site. It says if your pain is in the lower back, the injections should also be made in the pelvic area. Please read it and have Larry read it too!!

Gayle-Alison is so grown up and a doll!

Linda-It really must be horrible to have to cope with the death of a sister.

Dee- Once you have done your research you will have more of an idea if this will help you. The fact that you were painfree for over an hour sounds incouraging. It is hard to live in pain every minute of everyday. I hope you can find something that will give you relief.
Shelley - How is Larry coping? Any prospects yet?
Linda - You are one busy girl!
Gayle - Any rescues this week. Amanda and I went down to visit the puppy she rescued, she is so sweet and has really come a long way in being a happy little girl. She has four people trying to adopt her. They check the families out and decide where she would be best. So hard to leave her there after our visit though.
I am still really busy trying to get my house in order. With my arthritis being so bad all winter I did very little. I finally finished tiling my kitchen floor yesterday. What a relief I have been at that for weeks.
We are going to try to get the pool back up this weekend - hope the weather co-operates. It is about 14 here for today, not sure what that is in F. Just busy, busy, busy.

Dee ~ It would be nice if this new therapy would help! Keep us posted on what you decide to do.

I'm keeping your cousin's children in my prayers! Your family sure has been through a lot lately.

Shelley ~ Sounds like you really need to rest that heel! I sure hope you haven't developed a spur on it.

Linda ~ Going out dancing sounds like so much fun and it's great exercise too!

Gayle ~ Ali is adorable! How old is she?

Janice ~ I'm so glad to hear that the puppy is doing so well...Amanda should be really proud of herself!

THings have been busy here too...there just don't seem to be enough hours in a day right now! To top it off Tim cut his finger really badly at work Wednesday afternoon. Of course it's on his right hand, so that's slowing work down at the shop. There's always something isn't there?

Dee keeping my fingers crossed for you! this new therapy sounds very interesting.

Linda I am jealous, I love to dance! Sounds like so much fun!

I agree, Ali is so cute!

Janice, my kitchen floor is tiled and I LOVE it!! It really doesn't show the dirt (and around here the cat hair!) like the old floor. I love how easy it is to care for also! You are going to really be happy you did it!

Last night was weight in at WW. I gained a pound, but then I realized, I really upped my water intake this week, as well as I was wearing jeans! the last few weeks, I was wearing lighter shorts. I know, excuses, excuses!! LOL! But this AM before my shower, I weighed my self here and I have lost 2.5 pounds since last night, so I think the clothes had something to do with it!

Shelley thanks for the ingo on the websites. I haven't had time to look them up yet. You are right about Larry reading up on it too. My mind doesn't retain stuff and my judgement is not the best on these meds.
How is your heel doing? Is there anything that you are going to do to help it heal besides lie low for a day or two? I know that you won't be able to stay off of it too long. You are too much like me!

Gayle my godness, I didn't even recognize Allison. She looks so grown up. She doesn't look like a little girl any more. She is a grown up Princess. Now I have competion "wink wink" What a cutie.

Linda any day is a terrible day to lose a loved one but around Christmas is the worse. I am glad that time heals even though the pain and loneliness never goes away..

Janice it is 17 here today so it is a bit warmer. Maybe you will get our weather tomorrow and it won't be too bad to put up the pool deck. I take it you have an above ground pool. We do too.
I am glad that there are families available to adopt the puppy that Amanda found. I am sure she must feel good about it.

Suzy I know what it is like to get a sheet metal cut. Well actually I should say Larry knows. He has had numerous cuts that he needed many stitches. It takes awhile before it heals. Make sure Tim keeps it clean.

Debbie did you know that jeans weigh about 2? I am glad that you realize you lost weight. You are doing great.

Thanks for the prayers. Sean is out of intensive care but still in the hospital. They are waiting to see if he has brain damage. He does have a concusion and many cuts and gouges on his head and a broken arm.
Just after the accident when someone came to the car they seen Sean on her lap and blood all over her becasue of his head injury. They looked at him and said that he was dead. Jessica was taken to another hospital than Sean/ She didn't find out til four hours later that he was alive. Poor girl.
I haven't talk to Jackie their mom yet as she has been by Sean's bedside since.
I will keep you in touch. Thanks for everything.

Dee, I wish you well making the right decision with treatment. Sounds kinda like a cortisone shot. I have a few friends who found relief but needed treatment about every 3 months. Allison is growing like crazy! She will be a lot taller then her mom when it all said and done.
Prayers go out to the kids. Poor girl thinking he was gone all that time.
What ever happened to Jackie? The friend with cancer?

Suzy, Ali is 7 years old going on 35! She knows things/words now that I think I was in high school before I knew it! She really is a sweetie, no discipline problems at all and the teachers love her.

Lynneye, wishing you well this weigh-in! I bet the jeans had something to do with the scale difference. I would LOVE tile floor! I like the natural looking tile with no gloss to it.

Janice, no rescues this week! Saving them for you! Happy to hear the pup will have a wonderful new home soon!

Linda, such a sad story about your sister. We just never know do we? I guess we should cherish every moment we can with our loved ones.

I was thinking tonight, I never shared the story with you about Allison. We knew she would need braces, but now they are saying she has an under bite plus an over bite. Hopefully it will self-correct as she grows but the doctors are not very optimistic about it. We go to a specialist the first part of August and he will examine her. The doctors are saying if in time it can not be corrected through treatment or as the body grows, then around the age of 17-18 they will go in and break her jaw to line everything up. I am PRAYING like crazy that as she ages, it corrects it's self. We are not telling her too much, just letting her think she is having regular visits to the dentist.

Hey all, short post...but I'm back. I was having a hard time adjusting to my new med...(oh crap, just remember I need to take my RA meds), Anyhow, I'm on Wellbutrin now. None of those unwanted 'side effects' of Lexapro. BUt for the last week or two while the new one gets in there, I've been a basket case of nerves and crying and hormones. That's leveling out and through all this, I'm finally getting to a normal hubby/wife relationship. My husband is EXTREMELY happy about that.

ANyhow, I'm thinking about going back on WW. I lost the most weight while doing that and I'm sick and tired of looking like this. I've been trying to shop for some new clothes lately, because mine are getting wore out and faded. Do you honestly think you can find some "cute" "trendy" plus size clothes??? SO NOT HAPPENING! OMG, even the underwear looks like it walked out of my grandma's closet. I want to feel good about what I look like not dress like my mom.

Okay...done complaining. Must get back to the laundry lurking in the house. I did some of my sister's laundry for her because her washer broke and isn't repairable. My DH took a new washer to them last night and hopefully that will help them out. Of everyone in my family, my sister has got to have worse luck than me.

Chris-I love WW. I believe it's the healthiest plan out there.

Ladies-I'll be going to Tampa tomorrow very early for Becky's USF orientation. I don't know if I'll have access to a computer. I'll be back Wednesday. I'll post more later today, but this darn computer keeps shutting down.

I have eaten everything today that is not nailed down. Why?? Skittles, Ritz crackers, Triscuits, hard candy, watermelon, salad. That's been my food so far today. I think I'm nervous about driving around Tampa tomorrow. I really hate driving on the Interstate.
