You could call him/her Tyler either way - and Ty for short, as he or she will be a tie-breaker!

Congrats on the baby. I think Tyler would be a great name.

Congratulations, Momto7 !

I spoke with my nutritionist about what to do while pregnant on SBD. She said to continue eating as I have, but to add about 2-300 calories for the baby. For those calories, she said to try to split them evenly into the different food groups--so a little dairy, a little protein, a little veggies, a little fruit. She showed me how I could have a little yogurt with some berries, a little meat with some veggies, etc. and all for 2-300 calories. Just keep in mind that you don't need any more than that...you aren't really eating for two! Make sure that every nutrient counts...no eating fifteen fudgesicles (as if you would! ). Check out the veggie thread in the FAQ for more on nutrients.

Definitely don't use this as a reason to quit...it's a VERY good reason to keep eating super healthy. When the baby is here, then you can go back to losing. For now, work on maintaining, gaining a healthy amount of weight (around 25-30 pounds) and eating super healthy.
