Sorry to hear about your dog, but maybe you should get a fence before you get another?

We are thinking about putting up a privacy fence but the problem with that is...we have 1.3 acres and it is mostly front yard!!! It will be expensive but we are seriously thinking about it.

Look into getting an invisible fence - I know people don't care for them (not humane etc..) but getting zapped a couple times is WAY better then getting hit by a car.

Friends of ours have lost 2 pups to cars on their street - they now have the invisible fence and a happy new pup.

(Maybe you can get a couple extra collars for the boys too!) Ok Ok just kidding - don't flame me!

I was actually just looking at the different invisible fences. Looks pretty easy and MUCH cheaper then a privacy fence!!!! Do you know what kind of fence your friend got? There are so many kinds and they are all for dogs 15-220 lbs. Bostons usually only get to 9-13 lbs!!!
