boy oh boy was i just so lazy and fed up from having to prepare and go shopping and cook all the time we have a tiny fridge & a freezer compartment the size of a teenyweeny drawer, so I am constantly cooking & have to buy groceries in increments or they go bad. Luckily, it's been so cold I can store stuff on the balcony!

Jandaman, THANK YOU very much!! I appreciate it! I clearly miss Germany way too much....your mention of a tiny fridge and, I imagine, smaller-than-a-shoebox freezer made me feel heimweh!!!
Last night I went off plan by eating 32 salted roasted almonds. Not a major sin...but an important reminder that anything salty+crunchy is not safe in my house!
Today I am back on plan:

L: egg white omelet with low-fat feta and 2 pieces whole wheat toast and coffee w/ skim
S: 2 LC with 7 walnut halves
D: TBD, going to friend's birthday celebration. Let's hope there are "clean" protein and veggie choices. Otherwise, I'll eat when I get home.

D: TBD turkey chili or veggies w/ hummus (not sure I can be trusted to portion-control hummus, but I'd like to have something other than turkey!!!!)
