I've a short term goal of staying on plan and losing 5lbs before a talent show I am putting on on April 27th. I'm going to be hosting it up on stage in front of a bunch of people and I want to make sure I look, and more importantly feel, my best. I find having this goal that is so close has helped me push a little harder. What is your short term goal? ...whatever it is, good luck!
RingSize8, that sounds reasonable and I know you can do it! Can I be nosy and ask what your talent will be? or are you the emcee for the show. Do you have a specific outfit you're planning on?
My first goal, which I met yesterday, was for my leather chaps to be looser. They were tight in January...tried them on yesterday for my first ride of the year and they were loose
I don't have a specific weight or size I'm hoping for...I'm afraid I'll never be satisfied with myself but in July there is a small biker rally we're going to, and I have an outfit that I want to rock. Being as it's a biker party it is a rather sparse outfit I'm lucky that fishnet stockings are an accepted rally accessory because they sure help my legs!
(realistically I'm thinking if I was down 5 more pounds I would feel acceptable in it)
Working toward the next 10 lbs off and a regular exercise program. Also want to start weighing myself on some sort of regular basis - I'm in the dark as to how much weight I've lost, but I did drop from size 14 to 10 (ok, almost 10 and 12s were too tight, but I wore them anyway. Let's say I dropped a size).
I have a family gathering in the first part of April and another mid-May - I want to look and feel better than have. And, there's a big function with friends and colleagues in June. Really want to look good for that - maybe have some fun finding the right clothes this time around.
Six weeks from today I have a wedding to attend and want to get another five pounds off so I feel great in my spring dress. I know it's doable - now to do it!
I don't have a goal, which is probably not good. You guys have good goals to aim for. At this point I have lost 20 lbs on SB and I have gotten comfortable at this weight, and I feel good.
If anything I would like to lose 10 more lbs, but I am at a stand still and have been for the last month, on plan and I am just maintaining. So, I have to fess up and get some kind of goal.
I'm aiming for days on plan - going for 30 right now. After that, I'll aim for another 30 with a few planned off-plan meals (bdays, etc). I also want to start and maintain a regular exercise program. Going to start easing into that in the next week or two.
I don't have a date I wan to reach it by, but I really want to be able to feel comfortable in all my t-shirts this summer without my tummy roll making me feel frumpy.
My next goal is to lose 9 lbs. I have already reached 3 of my goals and most of the others will be from 7-10 lbs each time. I have a family reunion in 10 weeks and hope to be down at least another 15 lbs by then.
Vermont Mom,
I'm a teacher and I volunteered to put on your schools first talent show for our kids. Many people will be there - hopefully even our superintendent and a professional football player or two. I took this on all on my own, and I just want to look stunning when I get up on that stage. I'm so proud of what I'm doing for my school, and I want be just as proud of my body! I'll be emceeing and so I'll be up on stage all night, and if I'm feeling self conscious, it's going to be a REALLY long night.
I want to be down another 25 pounds by October of this year for my BFF's wedding (if she has it) and a total of 30 pounds down by the next cruise in December.
My ultimate goal weight will be 189, my lowest ever, and a size 12. I started SBD in July of last year (for the 3rd time) at 259 pounds and a size 22 pants and XXL or 2x shirts. I am now somewhere teetering between an 18 and a 16 in pants and an XL in shirts (though 1xs are a big big).
By the end of the year, I want to make it into ONEderland!
Actually, I changed my goal. I am having a bit of a problem with binging. I eat healthy throughout the week and then Sundays, I just lose self control. I feel really crummy but I keep doing it Hopefully, I am able to stop. It happened last year and then I stopped. Now, it's starting again. I am hoping to continue the rest of the month binge free. Any tips would be appreciated Wish me luck fellow chicks!
My goal that I'm working towards right now is 10 unassisted pull-ups. I'm up to 6 now and that is pushing it. I've also been talked into doing a marathon in October, so I guess that is one of my goals too
