Default Menu for Saturday, February 19, 2005

Back on Core 100%...

b: farina w/strawberries & bananas, milk
l: three bean salad, milk
s: some kind of fruit
d: roasted chicken & baked potato, milk

I would be back on, but I'm at work today and am at the mercy of what's in the freezer here so ... I'll have to count points. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back on Core foods (but will probably still count).

On the way to work: 1/2 of a Cherry Limeade, made with Sprite I guess (4)
B: had a cup of FF Ruffles, formerly known as WOW chips (1)
L: Morningstar Farms Corn Dog (3), another cup of chips (1)
D: Small teeny piece of Mexican cornbread, salad and milk (2)

Breakfast: Oatmeal made with skim and 1/2 cup homemade applesauce

Lunch: Polenta mexican pie (Making Niece's recipe)

Snack: Chocolate Banana Smoothie made with 1 cup skim

Dinner: Core Chili with leftover sweet corn cakes

Dessert: SF/FF pudding

B - oatmeal with ff pudding for flavour
S - fruit
L - avocado and shrimp sandwish (points)
S - popcorn
D - boca burger and oven fries (man I love these fries)
S - fruit and jello or something like that

Hey Kally! Looks good. Still want help? Looks like you might be a little light on milk and veggies? You could have a lovely salad with your burger and fries? I love the oven roasted fries too. What a great way to get in your healthy oil huh!

2 bowls beef barley soup
handful of pretzels

Snack: popcorn, diet pepsi

salad w/oil/vinegar dressing

I dont much like salad in the winter, but I made up some coleslaw with lunch and I will eat some cucumbers with dinner. The shrimp sandwich was fabulous and topped with spinach leaves. I just did a bit of avocado on toasted bread and cut prawns in half for the top. Next time a bit of red onion I think.

Kally, I just learned that I LOVE avocado. Your combination sounds great. I bet you are going to have a tremendous weigh in!
