    Been pissed off all week after getting into it with my sis-in-law. She made comments about how I am obsessed with losing weight, even going as far as to say that I am shallow and vain. Well, I guess I am a little. I am determined to get this weight off and my appearance matters to me. I refuse to continue to live life as someone who is overweight and unhealthy. I really think that she is feeling threatened because she is so unhealthy and has not decided to do something about it, and because she is missing her drinking buddy. Sorry, had to take a minute to vent. ... Thanks for listening.

  • boatingmommy - wanting to lose weight to look good sounds like a healthy motivation to me. I've been planning what new clothes I am going to buy since I started my diet on Oct 18th of last year.
  • Boatingmommy - I'm sorry you're going through that. I've noticed people are generally jealous when you are bettering yourself if they're not. And she is mad that something you used to share you can't do anymore for the most part. Well that's being selfish and unsupportive. She needs to back you up, theres plenty of other things to do besides drink together. Hopefully she comes around and apologizes.

    I don't know what's the matter with me being at my parents' house, I have absolutely no self-control here. I was baking yesterday, and my downfall was taking out the gum and liking the spoon. Went downwards from there.
    Well, anyways, it's my birthday today so I won't be counting. Trying to eat mindful though. And going for a run once the sun is up
