  • This is the thread to post your daily menus. Lets all make this an honest, on plan week!
  • Phase 1.5 (fruit, no grain)

    1 egg 'fried'
    Celery w/ pb
    Glass of skim milk

    Raw veggies (cauliflower, celery, cucumber) w/ ranch
    Greek yogurt
    Diet Coke

    T. Hotdogs (no bun) w/ mustard
    Green Beans
    Garden Salad w/ romaine lettuce, tomatoes, orange peppers, onions italian vinegarette
    Glass of skim milk

    Raspberries (a small handful)

    Cucumber slices w/ cream cheese & chives (if munchie in a bit)
  • Phase 1.5 (fruit, no grain)

    Egg white omlette w/ bell peppers

    1/3 Banana
    Greek Yogurt

    Raw veggies w/ ranch
    Cheese string

    Taco salad w/ seasoned ground beef, romaine, tomatoes, onion, jalapenos & ranch
    Glass of skim milk

    celery w/ pb (if munchie later)

    Egg white omlette w/ pico de gallo (tomatoes, jalapeno, onion & cilantro)
    Glass of skim milk

    Greek yogurt w/ vanilla & blue berries

    Chicken & veggie soup

    Chicken wing salad W/ chicken breast covered in Franks, romaine, carrotsw celery, cucumber & ranch dressing
    Glass of skim milk

    Cheese string
    Glass of red wine
  • I keep thinking of your other thread Lindsay, did you try counting your calories? Your menu looks decent - but I would be starving on it without beans (legumes)! But, it certainly depends on the quantity.

    I haven't started counting yet (putting it off, since I am not a fan of counting calories).. I use to alway add in beans, but I got a little sick of them, so I stopped using them in my salads etc.

    I am worried that my calories my be on the low side, but hopefully not since I struggle to eat all the food that I currently consume.
    *sigh*

    Will start counting on Sunday, as tomorrow is a bit of a planned cheat dinner.

  • Are we supposed to count calories on SB, I don't remember that being in the book?
  • OSU Karla - we're not *supposed* to, but some do if they are either at a plateau, or having a hard time maintaining. SBD is awesome, but you can still overeat healthy foods!

    Yes Klittle all the weight that I have lost, I lost while following South Beach. I have been off and on this way of eating for years, but the ticker shows what I have lost since restarting in November 2012, I gained a bit back in June when I had a few too many "cheats", but lost those again through healthy eating. Currently on a plateau since then, but hope to see the numbers on the scale start dropping again.
