I'm at 139 today, and 140 lbs is my "red light" weight that is the max I ever want to see, so I'm getting serious about weight loss. I'm taking it slow and steady though and hoping to lose 1 lb. a week and hit 130 by mid-Apr. This winter has been awful for me! My diet has been going downhill for the past year or so, and this winter has just made it worse. I look and feel my best between 125 - 129, and I'm committed to getting there and maintaining this year!
To kick it off, I'm following the Amy's Kitchen vegan eating plan (
http://www.amyskitchen.com/special_d...plan_day01.php) for two weeks, and after that I'll be using calorie counting and my own meal plans.
I'm excited and I'm really hoping posting in this forum helps me keep my motivation! That's my biggest problem - staying focused over the long haul.
