WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: I love food (doesn't matter what it is, I love lots of it) and it loves me. Moving in with hubby-to-be (and cooking for him) who places greater value in movies on the couch than on exercise and the weight just piles on. My gyno has suspected since I was 16 that I have PCOS; I will go for several months without a cycle then have a period that lasts 3+ months super heavy with large clots.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: In the past, it was always (it seemed) for vanity...to be skinny, to fit in, to not be ridiculed because my butt was more ample than my friends'. Although I still want to be skinny, it is now more about getting my out of whack hormones under control. I very much want to have children and hate that at this time, I seriously think I'm infertile and may only be able to conceive with chemical assistance.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? As if a PCOS diagnosis isn't bad enough, I was diagnosed 2 years ago with Uterus Didelphys meaning I have two Uteri instead of one, two Cervixes instead of one, one Ovary on either side, and a septum dividing my vagina into two sides.
I am very open and honest; there are not many conversations I shy away from. I am here for support (feeling like I need a lot these days now that we're TTC) and advice on what the best options are out there as far as medication, diet, and exercise.
