Default Low carb Indian food?

I just started a ketogenic diet and I'm still trying to get the hang of it. One of my best friends' birthday is tomorrow and she is having a dinner at an Indian restaurant.

I know that rice and naan is carb-filled and probably not good for my diet. I'm worried about the sauces in the curries etc. Anyone know which dishes are lower carb/low sugar?

Right now I'm planning on getting a curry or vindaloo and eating it plain, w/o rice etc. but any advice would be great!

Tandoori is your safest bet -- it's pretty much just (delicious) meat. (It's marinated in yogurt, I think, but has to be close to no carb -- any curry will have more, by comparison.)

That makes sense. Thanks for the tip. My hardest challenge is going to be avoiding the samosas...
