Depends on the size of the shrimp of course. I've made a shrimp recipe twice now for a special dish when I had company and the recipe used the large tail on shrimp - the kind that has about 20 shrimp per pound. I measured them after cooking and taking the tails off and found 4 shrimp was about 2 oz. So I was able to eat 8 and it was pure heaven. Need to make that again.

Congrats on reaching your first mini-goal and that run too!

Hi all - I am a lurker. I am on almost every day, but every time I think I want to say something I see someone else has already said it. LOL. Anyway, my mini goal for February is to be under 250. That will be 13 pounds from now.

I can't seem to think of anything except for things that cost money, and I was already spending so much on this program I had a hard time with that. So I never really did anything during my journey, except get a real kick out of shopping from my closet for a while, and then right at the end getting some new things altogether as I'm now smaller than I've ever been.

Now that I've reached my goal I did ask my husband if I could buy a recent Groupon for 6 laser treatments on my underarms as my reward and he agreed. My arms look great now and I'm looking forward to wearing tank tops this summer!

Ooooh! How much did that cost? My arms are saggy from the weight loss and I can't figure out how to fix them.

My mini goal is to be at 168.5. That is a 20% loss. I'm down 35 pounds since October.

Oh, you are the second person I have confused on this thread about the laser treatments! I see now how my original wording can be read to mean something different. Sorry about that. What I meant was that my arms look great now that I have lost all the weight - I discovered a nice muscle definition and my arms are very lean now. I do have some saggy skin around the elbows when my arms are bent, but oh well. The laser treatments I bought are for underarm hair removal. I haven't started the treatments yet. I think the Groupon was $199 for six treatments.

I had a neighbor call me today and tell me her (adult) son had seen me the other day and commented to her on how thin I was since the last time he'd seen me. She told him she thought I had lost "half" my weight and he told her she was exaggerating. I laughed at first, but then realized I have actually lost "one-third" of me! Wow! When I told my 10 y.o. daughter I'd signed the 60 lb scale board at the center she said you've lost as much as I weigh. Hadn't realized that either. Wow again!
