Dottie, as with any low carb plan, it gets easier the longer you stick with it. Just getting through the first days of sugar withdrawal are the hardest. Otherwise PPLP isn't all that different from Atkins Induction. I haven't been on the scale again. I'll weigh in Monday morning...or maybe Tuesday.
It's another warm day here. Too warm for gardening but I put in about 5 hours yesterday. I've nearly finished the weeding and cutting back of the rear borders. Next big job is front yard cleanup. I have some ivy there that wants to rule the world and needs cutting back hard. Also, the horsetail weeds in the front border are staging a revival. Here I thought I'd gotten rid of them with lime and manure. HA! Not a chance.
