There is a CATO shop in Santa Fe, NM. I'm not sure where else you can find them in the country, but I believe it's a chain. They have great plus size clothing styles at reasonable prices.

I never heard of this one before but I just received a catalog for Monroe & Main. They have Misses and Plus Sizes. The Plus sizes seem to go from 1X-3X or 16W-24W.

I just wanted to brag a little. I feel like I am really acomplishing something for myself and my family. I have lost 50 lbs and still working hard. I have rewarded myself with some new clothes. Even in a big city like Chicago I find it very hard to find nice clothes in my size. I am not sure I can include this in my tread but I recently found a store that is all about fashion for plus size women. Yeah Lane Bryant stores do give out lots of coupons, I get them in the mail all the time. And there's the Women Within/Lane Bryant catalog online which is different clothing from the shops.

COTTON GINNY

I think they're only in Canada too. Right now it's probably all tanks and capris and shorts which I don't wear, but in the fall/winter I can usually find something. They have a skinny section and a plus size section.

I haven;t been to the mall for a month but am planning to go take a look-see today, one year they had a wonderful linen thing (pants and loooong top) that suited the cover-up way I dress and they get The Linen in every May, and I am always hoping for a wondrous repeat. Unlikely, but I live in hope. Otherwise I'll have to go to Fabricland and then to the seamstress to make a copy!

I just looked at the Old Navy site posted by Amberoo - it's the US site, so I decided to look at oldnavy.ca

The store locator thingy gives you the option to look for stores carrying women's plus sizes but the local stores don't carry them, only maternity...

It told me that to find stores carrying plus sizes I would have to go across the border to upstate NY. So my guess is that Old Navy stores in Canada don;t carry the plus sizes.

Ooh that stinks, cats! Old Navy is one of the few that usually have the plus sizes in their shops. Shame not in Canada. On a side note, it really bothers me that stores will finally decide to sell to plus sized women but only do it through the internet.
I happen to enjoy shopping online but we shld be able to go into the store like anyone else and try on clothing, etc.
At least if you really liked something you can buy from Old Navy website and if it doesn't fit, send it right back.
