Addition-Elle (in Canada) has some great clothes. Some people think it's a bit pricy (eg: $50-$70 for jeans) but I don't think it's too bad. They have a points card (every $500 you spend you get a $25 gift certificate in the mail)
I used to work there and loved my discount of 50% off.

Reitmans (in canada)

I shop at a couple of places. Torrid, lane bryant, maurices, and old navy are probably my favorite. Im 21 and sometimes clothes for me are hard to find. But these stores have some young fresher looks and dont make you feel bigger than you are like some clothes do. And makeup comes in every size lol. I love a good lipgloss or eye shadow with a really nice black liner. Oh and you can be wearing the worst outfit ever but with a good pair of shoes and a hot bag .... they can pull anything together. Those are just my tips.

If you need a special occasion dress, wedding gown, prom dress, evening gown, cocktail dress, etc. try

www.sydneyscloset.com

My DD is getting married soon, and I found a great Mother of the Bride dress there.

I've had a lot of luck, and very good service on returns and exchanges, with Coldwater Creek (online; they're in the US, and I'm in Canada). While I was ill, I shopped with them almost exclusively so that at this point, most of my wardrobe is from them.

I saw this website ~Monif C~ for gorgeous, sexy swimsuits, casual dresses and cocktail dresses for plus size women. They are beautiful colors, curve conscious, so probably not for the modest. But if you are looking for something special and sexy in plus sizes, this would probably fit the bill.

Default Plus Size Athletic Wear - 10% & 20% OFF + Free Shipping!

There is this great plus size athletic clothing shop that I found a few coupon codes for. They have an excellent variety of women's workout clothing, and feature this one bra by Enell that I consider absolutely essential when you are working out! This company is Plus Size Athletic Wear (website is the same as company name with no spaces since I don't know if I can post links or not!). Anyways, I love shopping for workout clothes and this is a great place to shop. Here are their coupons:

20% off orders over $150: 20offpsaw (expires 08/2009)
10% off any order over $100: 10offpsaw (expires 02/2009)

Hope that helps some of you!

I was really unhappy with the quality of Lane Bryant clothes so I called the corporate office to complain about a specific dress I purchased. In addition to fixing the problem with my dress, they informed me that they are upping the quality of their fabrics for the Fall 2009 collection with "pima cotton" and "higher touches."

I'm not holding my breath though. These days, clothes are just getting cheaper and cheaper in quality.

I liked Torrid when I was in the States. And I like Pennington's (Canada).

I'm in love with Torrid and Old Navy. Rainbow usually has some cute stuff, although it's not that well made, but for a few wears, it's okay. Faith21 I think was mentioned earlier, and they have some cute stuff, as well. Hot Topic also has cute clothes, but their 3x is more like a tight 2x, so be warned! And Fredericks for lingerie and such.
