Also, Becky, too bad I didn't know about that place a couple years ago when we took a long weekend in Saugatuck with the dog! It's practically on the way. I will now be thinking of that chocolate place if I ever take another road trip up to Michigan. Only 3 1/2 hours away!

Wink chocolate porn

I just realized I'm a hypocrite! I have a belgian chocolate santa from our specialty chocolatier (all hand made fresh every day) that I bought for my stocking. I didn't eat it at holiday time but I'm sure not throwing it out.

So where were your gift chocolates from Jessica?

Yay Bargoo! I'm getting my hair cut on Wednesday (more colored than cut as I'm trying to grow it out after having it REALLY short). I'm now at 3.5 loss since Tuesday. I imagine I won't lose any more this weekend as I'm taking Sunday "off" (meaning I'll eat carefully but not my Nutrisystem foods).

We seem to think alike .So far our weight loss has been pretty close, too.

Good gracious, bargoo, you are really motoring! And Allison is coming on fast too! Great work!

The number is dropping here, too. In fractions of a kilo but that's quite acceptable. My face has 'that' look as well. You know, the look of someone eating properly, taking moderate exercise, getting enough sleep and losing weight.

No drop to report here; quite the opposite, in fact. The first week of the new year did not live up to my expectations. I could prattle about the shoulder pain and make some excuses, but the truth is simply that I have not been eating the right things in proper quantities. I know what I need to do, and that's to go back to what works - calorie counting. According to my LoseIt app, I can be where I want to go on May 18 (day after my birthday) at 1536 cals per day. Game on.

Well, I had a bit of a crisis the first week of January. I thought I wasn't going to Las Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show and got a last minute go-ahead to drive up and attend some important business meetings.

My suit pants don't fit. They zip, but they are clearly too snug and sitting would be a challenge. I have three lovely suits and I can't wear any of them, for the ONE rare reason I ever wear them!

So, last Monday I kicked into high gear - working out, eating right and I definitely FEEL better. My meeting is Wednesday and I don't think my pants are going to fit (I'm going to wear gray slacks and a nice sweater set), but I know I need to get back on it so all my clothes fit again.

I was kind of bummed this morning when I was putting my weight in at the Nutrisystem website...and asked it calculate my BMI. Yeah, I'm overweight. I think I have to lose at least 10 pounds before I get back to normal. But I can do it!!!
