Tues:
B - raisin bran, skim milk

S - banana
D - pasta w/meat sauce (ground turkey, onion, spices, collards, tomato), parmesan, spoon of PB
E - none

Question marks today. I am too worried about my dog to even think about eating.

Thanks Amanda. After our positive news from the vet this afternoon I actually felt up to cooking dinner, so it is in process right now and I edited my previous post.

My weight today is the lowest it's been in years (since 2007). I would rather be fat and have a healthy dog though than lose weight because I'm too worried to eat. Crossing my fingers for good news this morning, we should be hearing from them in about half an hour.

Thursday:
B - oatmeal, raisins, apple butter, skim milk
L - leftover polenta and chicken
D - tofu stir fry on rice (inc. asian veggies, soy sauce)
E - just moving the dog around

Friday's plan

B~eggwhite mcmuffin
L~salad
D~popcorn & beer, unless we don't go to a movie, and in that case I'll make scrambled eggs with ham, ww muffin, hash browns and melon. I think that was my plan for Thursday, but we ended up having tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches because it was so cold here.

I'm trying something new this week - a little less carb overall. With meals it's fine, but cutting them back for breakfasts and snacks this week (except my ice cream. You will pry my ice cream from my cold, dead hands). I've been floating up and around red line, and I'm hoping a carb reduction and complete sugar cut-off will help me float back downward.

B - Two baked crustless quiches (each one is about 1 whole egg, half a mini chicken apple sausage, 1/4 cup of asparagus, and some chive) with 1 tbsp tomatillo salsa
S - Yogurt
L - Beef stew - beef, carrot, a little potato, celery, broth, thickened with a little cornstarch
S - 1 serving almonds OR protein shake
S - RF Cheddar cheese stick, 6 sl RF salami, 5 strawberries (this is my favorite snack when cutting back carbs. I know the strawberries have some, but not a ton, and it's like a mini fruit and cheese plate!)
D - Fibergourmet pasta w/ lean ground beef, veggies (onion, bell pepper, zucchini).
S - NSA Ice Cream

Went out to dinner last night. I needed the break and I'm glad we did it, even if I overate a bit. Weight is still down from the stress and my "skinny" pants are falling off. Now that things are looking up with the dog, I'm trying to decide whether to try to maintain this lower weight (at which my stomach actually approaches being somewhat flat) or gain a couple pounds so that my clothes will fit again.

Friday:
B - oatmeal, raisins, ls jam, skim milk
L - leftover cabbage soup, sourdough, cheese stick
S - banana
D - not sure yet, prob pasta
E - 1 mile run + wu/cd, 3 sets bench press @30#
