Andi, carrots have alot of starch. I have been told several times before to have all of your fruits and starches in before 5 p.m. Now whether it makes a difference or not, I don't know. Just fyi.

hey andi, i notice that you have carb cravers and frozen dinners on the same day. I was wondering does it work for you. I have wanted to do that so many times, but I was scared I wouldn't get in enough "real" protein.

I wondered why I'm so dang hungry today. I've been slightly off plan the past few days, because my mom was visiting and she insists on eating out for nearly EVERY meal. I tried to be good, though.

Today, so far:

Breakfast:
1/2 banana, sliced, on 1 sheet low fat graham crackers 1F, 1 S
8 oz milk D
coffee with splenda and a tad of creamer

Snack:
LA Lite

Lunch:
Turkey stir-fry (roast turkey, minced garlic, and shredded cabbage cooked in 1 t olive oil with lite soy sauce) 1P, 1V
7 almonds Fat
1/2 c applesauce 1F
1 of their LA snacks, the toasted pasta thingies, bbq flavor, 1 S

I still get 1P, 2V, 1F, and 1 Lite today, but I am starving! Most of the time I've been having trouble stuffing all the food down. I hope I'm not so hungry tomorrow!

Shennie, I don't know how it's working for me because I've only been back on program for two days!! It hadn't occured to me that it could be a bad thing. It's just that Sunday nights are late nights because of church and I don't like to come home and cook. I guess I'll have to keep an eye on that. I had a carb craver lunch today (roast beef sandwich) because DH and I met a couple for lunch at a deli and that was all that was OP and available. However, I did have 7 oz (cooked) serving of chicken tonight.

I think I'm so hungry because of the lack of fat in my diet. We'll see.
