This was the plan I mentioned in the friends thread...this plan not only has me full, but I have gained 5 FREAKIN POUNDS since last Friday. I don't know if it's the plan its self or the plan + me exercising an hour a day/6 days a week. I couldn't fit all the foods in the 1st day nor the 2nd, and started stuffing my face the 3rd and so on. I am up 5 lbs!!!! I am devistated. They put a call in to the dietician on yesterday while I was there and was told to eat on plan for two weeks total and keep exercising. I am at a loss for words. I'm on Plan 4, which replaced the regular Red Plan. I had 10 more pound to go until Purple/ #3 and now...I really just want to cry.
Letisha - Man I'm sorry the change in plans has caused you so much problems. I'm really nervous about it since I've lost good...why would they change it? It sounds like maybe they should go ahead and put you on #3. Did they have any suggestions on eating certain things earlier in the day?Good luck and maybe your body will adjust. Okay, I finally got my plan. Some things that are standing out to me are that I get 2 dairy now, and the serving sizes have not changed on them. Also, SF, FF pudding is now listed as a dairy choice, for 3/4 of a cup! In condiments, there are pickles!!! Yeeeehaw! 1 medium sized dill or 3/4 oz of sweet. Also, FF half and half is 2 T= 1 condiment. I also get 2 fats now, and 2 T of guacamole is a fat. In starches, a whole lite WW english muffin is one starch. The restaurant guide is updated a lot too. I am going to start this plan on Sunday.
I talked to a girl at my center today and she said that they are getting all the material in for the new plan and they should be giving to clients by the end of July. I am kind of excited the more I hear you all talk about it
Is this happening in all centers? I'm in a corporate center in Pa., and went in today. No one mentioned anything. Granted, I didn't ask, but I wondered if it's going to take place everywhere sometime this summer.
I went to WI (Friday) and asked about it. The lady I talked to didn't know anything about it, only that they are having a meeting on Thursday. So I told her a bit about what I know. She was excited to know more than anybody else so far. We'll see next week what happens. It seems that it may be a national rollout...most of us seem to be going to it. And it's now making it's way to Indiana. BTW, anybody else from Indiana?
Katie - what plan were you on before? The idea of 2 dairy's is great. How did your starches and proteins change, or did they?
I was on red with no lites. I get 4 starches now, and I used to get 3. Also, if you eat high fiber choices, the portions are a little bigger than before. I used to get 2 1/2 protein (8 oz of chicken, 6 oz of beef). Now I get 3 proteins, but the serving size is 4 oz, cooked of poultry and fish, 3 oz of beef and pork. They have also gone to cooked weight measurements vs. the raw weight that it used to be.
Thanks for the info. I'm on purple with lites but I think the portion sizes are the same for everyone now...it is just the number that you get that is different. Enjoy your new plan, I hope it goes well for you!
Mine COD is clueless too I asked them about it Saturday at WI and she said she didn't know anything about it and asked me where I got my info from. She sounded excited when I explained it though and said that she wondered if that's why the portion plates recently came out as well.
