Hi everyone! So I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Sarah and I am a 24 year old student, I have a degree in film studies and I am currently studying television broadcasting and communication media. A little background on me, up until I was about 10 years old I was fairly skinny and then all of a sudden my weight began to rise. As it turns out, I have PCOS which was not diagnosed until I was 17.
Last year I hit my heaviest at 197lbs, last summer I managed to lose 26lbs but I have since packed it all back on.
I've set a goal for myself. I'd like to lose 50lbs by Christmas if possible. Of course nothing is impossible if you work at it.
I currently weigh 194.5lbs. I ended up getting myself a fitbit to help keep track of what I am doing and I am an active user of MyFitnessPal. Right now I'm doing a lot of walking in my spare time as well as jump rope and a few workout dvds.
Sarah! It sounds like you are set for success with your Fitbit, myfitnesspal, and joining 3FC! Losing 50 lbs by Christmas sounds possible, but whatever you lose by then will be great, right?. You've lost 26 lbs before so you know what to do! Good luck! You got this!
