I've been a lurker for a while, but I finally registered and am introducing myself. I'm a 28 year old wife, mom, and student, and I'm looking to shed around 20 lbs. I gained a lot of weight with my babies and had trouble losing the extra fat; at the end of 2011 I was up to 194 lbs, just shy of the obesity threshold. I realized just how bad it had gotten, and managed to kick my butt into gear and I lost over 60 lbs in about 6 months. Unfortunately I didn't do it in a very sustainable way, and I began bingeing like crazy in response to stress. I gained back around half the weight I lost, and was disgusted with myself. I've maintained my weight at around 160-164 for most of the summer, and I've relaunched my weight loss campaign. I'm down about 9lbs so far (153 today!) and my goal is to reach the low 130s again and STAY THERE this time!
This community seems so supportive and inspiring and I'm excited to join in!
