Hi, my name is Lori, I am new here. I am at my highest weight ever, and I am not happy about it! Funny thing is, I was always so thin, growing up, I was skinny. I was fairly thin until my fourth child, then I started to gain. I have high blood pressure, and I am on medication for that. I believe the medication (beta blocker) is preventing me from losing weight. I also have lots of stress in my life, so that does not help. Any words of advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Lori!

I completely understand about the high stress. I'm a teacher and wonder how I'm gonna manage my time this upcoming school year and achieve my goals. I know that it is a lifetime commitment and each day is a new day. So, I'm not looking for a quick fix. Remember if we take it nice and slow and stay commited to ourselves, the weight will come off.
