I joined 3FC in Dec. 2011. I've been steadily losing weight for next 4 months and then I got pregnant. I've put on a lot during pregnancy and developed a severe herniated disc condition a week before due date. I was unable to get up due to debilitating leg pain/spasm. Then my leg went numb. I had a caesarian, then back surgery after two days. It was the most horrible time of my life. I had a lot of time to think as I was practically bedbound for a week and half and it was an eye opening experience. I brought this condition on myself w years of inactivity, no exercise, and being overweight even worsened it!
I'm back now at my starting weight from 2011. I'm doing Atkins as this worked for me years before.
My children need me, and they need me healthy and active!

It looks like you found the right motivation and will def lead you to success. Your kids def need you by their side for a long long time and you need to be healthy to make it possible!

Welcome back...I have several hernieated discs as well in my lower spine...so I completely get the frustration of trying to exercise...as well as the leg cramping and spasms...it's the worst.
