Good evening and Happy Easter to those who celebrated today.
I found this cite last evening and knew it would be a great tool on my weight loss journey.
First a bit about me- 34 year old married mom (5'9" tall) of 5 kids all 11 and under. After some marital trouble, depression, and just putting myself on the back burner I have found myself more overweight than I should be. I started my new healthier lifestyle 2 weeks and 3 days ago weighing in at 270 pounds. I am down to 258 and feeling more motivated than I have in a long time.
I am going low carb- but not Atkins, just my own version. I am eating mostly a variety of vegetables, lean proteins, healthy fats (olive oil, avocados), some dairy (cheese, greek yogurt), and some fruits (I love oranges and grapes). I am also exercising for about an hour daily- currently just doing cardio.
I look forward to "meeting" many of you as I journey toward a healthier version of myself!
