Hi! I just joined Ideal Protein and am totally stoked that I lost 4 pounds in my first 4 days! I joke that I am a professional dieter, mainly because I have been on every diet there is...and started when I was 12 years old. My most success was when I was 22 and did a low-fat diet/ walked every day and lost about 30 pounds. It all came back plus more over the next few years. Every year older and every diet gets a little harder to get rid of the chub. At 38, with 2 boys (7 and 10), I really want to focus on being healthy for them so I can be around a long time! I AM very healthy (thankfully) even though I am overweight. I have always just wanted to feel good about myself. I am pleased with myself from the neck up...its the rest of me that I have issues with. I would like to feel confident around people, and not be afraid of rude comments. I am not morbidly obese, by any means, but "fluffy" to the point where I am uncomfortable with myself. I am delighted to find this site that obviously has a lot of people just like me on it!!! And of course, I am thrilled to find useful tips on my Ideal Protein journey! I TRULY hope IP is the one that's going to FINALLY work! I typically stall at about 11 pounds (weird number, I know). I have seen some amazing results in people on IP and I really want to be one of them. I am a nurse in an OB/GYN office and would love to be able to help women struggling with their weight by being successful myself. Looking forward to 3FC being part of my journey!!!
