Default Hello from St. Louis

Hi everyone... I for have long been a fan of weight watchers but I simply can no longer afford the meetings. I've been trying to track my food but it's sooooo easy to "forget". I've been looking for a site that would offer me some support and ideas.

I am so happy to be part of the 3 fat chicks!

Welcome! Have you thought of trying a food journal? Or a little sticky note?

Hi
I am also having a hard time remebering to track my food I have done WW but found expensive and i also found the leaders not very helpful so then I tried TOPS and it helped but then i hit the "brick wall" and needed some personel help from the leader and again they failed me so I left TOPS and put on some the weight again and have been struggling ever since I decided the other day to come back to 3FC to see if I could get some support and maybe some challenges to get me back on track

Hi Suz!

Funny as it sounds... just talking on this today has made me aware of writing stuff down. Hmmmm maybe it will have a positive affect on you as well? I hope so!!

I love weight watchers but it what really worked was knowing I had to be responsible to someone every week. Sounds childish I know but some how it worked.

Hi Lashes65
I know what you mean about being responible to some one every week I knew that on thursday I had that weigh in In the begining I did really well but got tired of listeming to the leader who was just getting info off the internet that I could get it there as well
Would you be interested in being each other "mentor"? Once a wek on the same day we could weigh in at home then let each other how we did and discuss our success or lack of success Let me know what you think and then we can pick a day for our weigh in

Suz,

I had a leader like that so I know what you mean. Then I also had really good leaders. Sometimes it's hit or miss

I love the idea of being each other mentors!!! I say we go for it.

I've been weighing in on friday mornings... does that work? That way if I go a little wild on the weekend I can make amends.

do you work out at all?? I just cant seem to get back in the groove of that either.. always something else that needs to be done.

A food journal is a great idea as it makes you accountable for what you are eating. I often didn't eat something because i knew that I would have to write it in my notebook and put a big cross next to it! Never underestimate the power of the food journal!

Hi
Yes friday works for me I started my food journal today and i must admit I did OK on the food
I do work out 2x/week aerobics, weights and mat work then 4x/week I walk, over the 4 days I walk a total of 12 miles even with all this exercise I have not lost any weight in a while so that tells me I have been over eating quite a bit

Hi ross
A food journal is quite the eye opener and you are right about not eating something because you have to write it down I have found that if you deprive yourself food you enjoy then if you are tempted to eat it you tend to over do it So i follpw this simple rule everything in moderation

I did the Biggest Loser Last chance work out. I have several Biggest loser workouts and they are all really good. I bought most of them cheap on Amazon. I like to have a variety of workouts, I also have EA Sports active for the wii. Last year I quit the gym because I wasnt seeing results and went to working out at home. I had really good success at that until I fell off the wagon.. Now I am back on!
