Plenty of reasons. Just need motivation!

    My name is Lisa and I'm a mom to two and wife to one. I've known of this site for many years and finally decided maybe it's time to become a little more active and DO something. So, here I am. I've got a ton of reasons I need to/want to lose weight, but I just can't see to get off my duff and do it. I'm looking for some motivation and I'm hoping I might be able to find it here.

    I've done WW (and was successful) and have attended TOPS meetings as well. I like the accountability of both of those programs, but I am not looking for a regimented program. I "fall off the wagon" hard when I'm following a program. I just want to live healthy and watch the weight fall off. But I need something to motivate me. That's where I'm struggling!

    I'm going to search around the site and see if I can find a mini-challenge. Something that can motivate, encourage, and hold me accountable.

    Thanks for letting me crash the party. Hope to get to know some people a bit better on here.

  • Welcome to the forum. I count calories because I do not think I could follow a regimented program either. With google it is easy to look up the calories of just about everything I eat. I try to keep my calories between 1300-1400 per day and eat as many healthy foods as possible.
    You will find many challenge threads on this forum. Best of luck to you!
