Hi, I'm new, was hoping to lose some weight and talk to people going through the same kind of thing.

I'm 26, I love art (all things painting, drawing--doing it as well as admiring other people's work). I am finishing up a technical degree and going to be looking for a better job soon.

I currently feel like I have 70 lbs to lose (but 90 would be a lot better...70 is livable though). I have several mini-goals and have not reached any of them, but have been on a diet for 3 weeks (23 days actually).

Hello. I am fairly new to this forum too but have found it to be wonderful.
Good for you for losing your excess pounds now why your young.
I too have about 70 lbs to lose, 90 would be great but I do not think I could maintain that weight long term. Its all about changing your life and living a more active and healthier lifestyle.

Hi Girls,
Healthy life is the way forward and so so easy to get used to once you start. I have lost 65lbs and haven't used any fad diets, haven't weighed anything, measured anything and haven't given over my life to completely being a diet bore.
I feel great and you will to when you get here.

Yup, weight loss is about learning a new way of life, day by day. If you learn new, healthier habits now (like portion control, choosing whole grains and lean proteins, etc.) it'll pay off big-time in the long-run. Best of luck to you!
