Arrow Fiber Enthusiast!

Hello everyone,

My name is Veronica and I am 21 years old. I've suffered from depression since I was very young, which has caused my weight to fluctuate a lot. I started the year 2010 at 150 lbs and during summer I weighted about 120. I ended the year at 134 lbs.
I've been pressured by my mother most of my life to lose weight, and most of the time I feel my appearance is the only thing my family values.
I wish I could say 'screw them' and be satisfied with my weight, but that's not happening any time soon. Plus, my eating habits aren't of the healthiest considering my weight pattern...
I'm hoping to loose 10 lbs and keep them off by following a healthy fiber-rich diet.
Any help and advice would be appreciated!

Wishing you success in 2011. Healthy diet is a great start. What is your fitness plan? I know that I feel better emotionally when I exercise...even simply walking.

Thanks Martipants!

I haven't gotten very creative with my work-out routine. For now, I'm walking 50 mins 5 days a week. It's cold outside and I don't have a lot of time on my hands, so I don't really know what else to do. I do the walking by getting off the bus earlier and walking to work and back home.
If you have any suggestions let me know!
