Default Hi!

Hi! I'm about 50 lbs overweight, and I'd love some support. I get frustrated with calorie/carb counting, so I'm going to try the generic 'healthy choices' diet, and I was wondering if this outline would work.

I tried adding up calories just to see:

110 apple
65 bread
100 pb
90 milk

Breakfast: 365

65 bread
100 pb / 55 jam
70 orange
90 juicebox

Lunch: 380

120 chicken
40 salad
30 carrot
90 milk

Dinner: 190

Total: 1025

hugs and support on your weight loss journey
Also, you may need a few more calories to sustain yourself as you are losing I had been counting calories/carbs/and portions trying to keep it at 1200 calories and less than 20 carbs. I dropped weight quickly but then stalled. I had to adjust my calories just a tiny bit to get the scale moving again.

Hi and welcome to 3FC.

I think the calories are too low as well.

Good luck with your goals.

Looks like I'll have to add a snack or two in there. :P I'm not a low carber, but if I add, for example, a granola bar and a banana to my diet, could I be consuming too many carbs or does it really matter as long as I'm not over doing it on the calories? I tried to reduce the bread I eat but I dunno if that's enough. D:

By the way, your avatar is amazing. o_0

Thank you .
I am on the Atkins diet, which is why I am counting the carbs. But there are many diets similiar to yours that allow much more.
I was going through a stall recently and hits the threads for some support and more inportantly some ADVICE. The ladies on these threads are AMAZING and they give AWESOME advice and support. They helped the scale get moving again (in the RIGHT direction LOL) and kept me from losing my mind.
best wishes in reaching your goals
