Default Hi, I'm new!

Hi everyone! I'm 18 and new to this website. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but wanted to find some support outside of the usual... family, friends, etc. I have lost 20 lbs and reached a low of 115, but have now entered the yo-yo cyle—gain ten, lose ten, and so on and so on. As a dancer, being at the higher point (where I am now) is definitely not acceptable (especially when everyone else under 100, ew). I know I will find what I'm looking for with all the sucess stories I've read!

Welcome to the boards Tyger! It must be really challenging to have that added pressure of being a dancer and having to think about your weight. But you've come to the right place to get lots of support.

I'm Virginia, 19, living in Oregon.
Back at home I did belly-dancing for 7 years, and worked as a hired dancer for 2. I know how hard is to think about how you have to look when you are on stage, and how your teammates look!

Welcome to the boards! I was a gymnast for fourteen years, right on through college, so I understand the pressures surrounding weight. Make sure you have healthy goals.
